Hi everyone and welcome to ally & kat, the blog.

 This blog will celebrate all things cat and dog.  We want to create a fun, informative and friendly community for and with pet owners?

At ally & kat we will share sneak peeks at the latest fabulous finds that we have instore for your pet.   Bring you the trends , pet industry news and views,  interesting facts and information about cats and dogs and hints and tips on maintaining a happy pet ... and stylish home.

 To kick off our blog, it's a question we know we all secretly ask ourselves 

Do we look like our pets? 

We have all had an inkling that we share personality traits with our cats and dogs, and why not.  That is possibly what attracted us to our pets initially. We go on to build a strong bond and similarities are bound to arise.   Sometimes though we may be more alike than we think.   

Swiss visual artist and photographer Sebastian Magnani created stunning portraits displaying similarity between pets and their owners in his "Underdogs" and "Undercats" projects . The slightly unsettling but striking fact is that he didn't morph the images but only added the owners hair and clothes to the animals. I think he proves a point brilliantly.  

 Numbers 1 and 8 are incredible, and number 10 is my favourite . What do you think? Comment below on the ones that stand out for you!
